We are husband and wife artists, Lynne Brown, a graphic designer and Joe Bircher, an architect. We share a love of the visual arts. We also share a studio together, we affectionately refer to as “The Shed”. We combined two households when we were first married and moved together. The shed was where we stored everything we couldn’t fit into the house. It took months of weekends of arguing and drudgery to sort out what to keep or toss – but in the end it was worth it. We now have a studio space that is ours to share, doing what we love.

Joe’s paintings, called “Aerial Landscapes”, are based on actual satellite images of farm land in the state of Kansas more>
